Our children's book series focuses on bringing awareness to rescue animals and their amazing adoption stories!
Our Story
A&E Publishing, LLC was formed in 2021 when two close friends embarked on a new journey as author and illustrator!
Back in 2020, Audra partnered with some like-minded, animal-loving friends to create an advocacy group called Friends of Toby. This group works with local animal shelters and rescue groups to increase awareness and attention to their "harder-to-home" animals who continuously get overlooked.
This sparked the idea for the Friends of Toby Book Series! Audra always enjoyed writing so she combined her love for writing and animals to create the series. Each book would be based on a different true story about a rescue animal who beat the odds and found a forever family!

When she expressed her idea to one of her closest friends, Emily, she immediately wanted to be a part of the journey! And so A&E Publishing, LLC was born. Audra wrote and Emily digitally illustrated, and their idea finally came to life!

Audra and Emily are very big advocates of animal rescue and hope that the Friends of Toby Book Series will educate both children and adults on the importance a rescue animal can have in one's life!
